Laura Hingle, MBA, CEBS, ChFC®, CFP®

Background, Focus Areas and Recognition:

Laura Hingle is a graduate from Dickinson College, with a B.A. in Political Science and M.B.A. from Syracuse University in International Business and Operations Management. Laura has also furthered her training in employee benefits by receiving her CEBS designation from International Foundation of Employee Benefits and received the Retirement Planning Specialist title that is awarded by Equitable Advisors, based on receipt of a Certificate in Retirement Planning from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. In addition, Laura has her certifications in Certified Financial Planning and as a Chartered Financial Consultant. Laura began her employee benefits career in 1990 with Tribus Companies, one of New Jersey’s top employee benefits companies employing over 200 employees. Upon the acquisition of Tribus Companies in 2000, Laura continued working with Wachovia Insurance Services as Vice President, Sales Integration until 2006. In 2006, Laura founded Black Diamond Solutions, LLC, a benefits brokerage and consulting firm specializing in health and welfare programs. To expand the products, services and expertise available to her clients, Laura joined Equitable Advisors in 2013 which focuses in Financial Needs Analysis and Business Strategies. Laura differentiates herself by collaborating with clients and being their advocate in a complex, ever changing employee benefits environment. She focuses on educating the clients on leading edge trends, providing quick and accurate customer service responses; and implementing plans of action.

Personal:

Laura is passionate about sports and exercise. She coached youth basketball for both girls and boys; she plays volleyball for the HUB league and has run 55 full marathons including Boston and NYC. She shared her running passion as a pacer for the NJ Marathon. Laura’s goal is to run a marathon on every continent, and she has completed 5 so far (North America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia). Laura is also a triathlete who completed multiple 140.6 and 70.3 Ironman events.
